Attack many metals with liberation of hydrogen, which is inflammable and forms explosive mixture, Oxidizing agent.

APPLICATIONS :

Fertilizers :

Mainly phosphates, but also zinc, ammonium and potassium sulphates.

  Textiles : Used for carbonization
  Sulphonation :

Sulphonation of various metals and manufacturing of Alum.
