The PRICAT range of catalysts for the hydrogenation of fats and oils is highly active and selective catalysts tailored towards specific applications. Catalysts are also used for the full hydrogenation of triglycerides. Guljag is building on almost 100 years of experience in the manufacture and application of catalysts utilized for the production of edible oils and fats and for the hydrogenation of fatty acids. The catalysts are immersed in hardened triglyceride and supplied in the droplet form enabling safe and easy handling, and contain typically 22% nickel.
